I thank all of those who came out to the fundraiser and website launch on Sept 11, 2011 at the Port Whitby Marina. It was wonderful to see our regular supporters and some new ones. I enjoyed meeting some new people and sharing a nice night with some wonderful people. Our volunteers and supporters made it all possible and a special thank you to them. I also hope that you all walked away more aware of the issues that we face while driving.
Please contribute to the website when you have a chance. It was designed so that anyone can add comments and content.

Any drug that changes the way you feel, will affect your driving. This a problem with both legal and illegal drugs. Prescription drugs and some over-the-counter drugs can impair your ability to drive. If convicted of impaired driving, you can lose your license, be fined , or spend time in jail. Most of all you could lose your life or that of someone else.

in Website Blog Drinking and driving can be deadly. One drink can reduce your ability to concentrate on driving , anticipate potentially dangerous situations and react to them appropriately. The more alcohol in your blood, the more trouble you will have judging distances and reacting correctly to hazards. Your vision can also become impaired.
As of August 1, 2010 drivers 21 and under must have a zero blood alcohol level when driving. If caught, you face:The future of Safe and Sober Canada
