Seasons twice past.

Without your smile

Without your laughter, without your style.

We carry on, a burden borne with tears,

Yet memories sweet defeat the years

That sadly pass without you.

We face a future,

Once so rich

With hope and promise of all life's gifts,

Now but whispered reflections seen

through tears.

A butterfly whose angel's wings now

unfold to help us face the years

To happier times

Our memories turn to help rebuild our

lives,

Your hands still painting sweet images

behind the eyes

Of those who loved you.
