Driving in Unsafe Driving Conditions

Written by vic Garbutt

Driving a Vehicle, especially a Motorcycle is at best a precarious activity. It would be nice if the car just stayed on its proper side of the road all by itself, and automatically avoided other vehicles or other hazzards. Some day that may be the case, but in todays world, that is still a science fiction. In fact, there are many ways to interfere with the unsafe operation of a motor vehicle, and the driving conditions, the environment, the weather, the road conditions can easily cause your vehicle to take on a life of it's own and cause a serious incident.

Unsafe driving conditions may include one or more of:

  1. Rain
  2. Snow and Ice
  3. Fog
  4. High Winds
  5. Bright sunlight
  6. Poor road surfaces
Some of these hazards will Cause you to lose control, and some will cause you to lose yur bearings. Combine any of them with distractions like a cell phone or eating, and a disaster is waiting just around the next hi speed corner.
